From June 15 to 21, 2026, China holds the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week under the theme A New Starting Point for Energy Conservation, Toward a Low-Carbon Future. June 17 marks the National Low-Carbon Day with the theme Green Transition, Joint Efforts by All.

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that advancing the green and low-carbon transformation of economic and social development is essential for high-quality development. As a core driver of high-quality growth, the industrial sector serves as a key battlefield for green and low-carbon advancement.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China’s industry and information technology sector has firmly upheld the philosophy of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”. It has consistently optimized industrial structures, built a comprehensive green manufacturing system, advanced low-carbon transformation of industrial energy consumption, and expanded the supply of energy-saving and low-carbon technologies, products and equipment, achieving remarkable progress in industrial green development.
