The JL-SVG series Static Var Generator is available in two configurations: wall-mounted and rack-mounted. The SVG is a static var compensator based on power electronic converter technology. Its fundamental operating principle involves connecting a voltage-source converter in parallel to the power grid via a reactor; by precisely adjusting the phase and amplitude of the converter's AC-side output voltage, the device can absorb or inject reactive current as required to achieve dynamic reactive power compensation while simultaneously monitoring system harmonics. It is capable of both reactive power compensation and the balancing of three-phase active power loads.
