JL-SVG(G/T) Cloud-Connected Static Var Generator

The JL-SVG series low-voltage static var generator is a dynamic reactive power compensation device centered around a voltage-source converter. Its fundamental operating principle involves connecting the voltage-source converter in parallel to the power grid via a reactor.

Product Overview

The JL-SVG series low-voltage static var generator is a dynamic reactive power compensation device centered around a voltage-source converter. Its fundamental operating principle involves connecting the voltage-source converter in parallel to the power grid via a reactor. By precisely adjusting the phase and amplitude of the converter's AC-side output voltage—or by directly controlling the AC-side current—the device can absorb or inject reactive current as required, thereby achieving dynamic reactive power compensation.

The cloud-controlled static var generator (models JL-SVG(G/T) feature a complete cabinet design and smart cloud platform communication capabilities) is equipped with temperature measurement modules and an integrated communication management unit. These components transmit temperature data and operational parameters from each SVG module to the Laibao Smart Cloud via communication modules, enabling real-time monitoring of SVG data and operating status via PC or mobile devices.

Performance Features

A temperature monitoring module accurately measures the temperature of each module and transmits the data to a cloud platform via a communication module (4G IoT), enabling remote operations and maintenance (O&M). This reduces O&M costs and facilitates preventive maintenance, thereby avoiding the need for emergency repairs following an incident.

The cloud platform allows for remote monitoring and parameter configuration, as well as timely fault alerts via PC or mobile devices.

On-duty personnel can remotely disconnect circuits via PC to eliminate potential safety hazards.

An inert gas fire suppression system can be installed within the unit; it automatically detects the source of a fire and releases inert gas to displace oxygen and extinguish the flames. This process suppresses the fire without damaging electrical equipment, allowing the internal components to resume normal operation once safety is restored.
