This device employs a combination of active and passive compensation technologies—specifically integrating a Static Var Generator (SVG module) with traditional switched capacitor banks—to compensate for load unbalance currents (negative-sequence, zero-sequence, and harmonic currents). It aims to eliminate or reduce the three-phase current unbalance rate in the power grid while simultaneously providing fundamental reactive power compensation. The controller manages both the SVG module and zero-crossing switching units; it features monitoring capabilities for active power, reactive power, three-phase unbalance, and harmonics, and supports GPRS wireless communication, RS485 communication (RTU protocol), and optional Wi-Fi connectivity.
Rated capacities (kvar) include 30, 60 (30+30), 90 (30+60), and 120 (30+90), utilizing a 30kvar SVG module combined with capacitor banks of varying capacities; other capacities can be customized.
