JLMJ Series Self-Healing Metallized Film PFC Capacitor

JLMJ self-healing metallized film capacitors utilize a proprietary zinc-aluminum composite metallized film, manufactured using specialized processes and technologies. They are primarily used for applications such as power factor correction and the absorption of power harmonics.

Projcet Overview

JLMJ self-healing metallized film capacitors utilize a proprietary zinc-aluminum composite metallized film, manufactured using specialized processes and technologies. They are primarily used for applications such as power factor correction and the absorption of power harmonics. This series includes both oil-immersed and dry-type capacitors, available in rectangular or cylindrical designs to facilitate reactive power compensation across various industries.

Performance Characteristics

① High Reliability: Capable of withstanding surge currents of 300In; rated for a service life of 100,000 operating hours (Class A).

② High Safety: Features excellent self-healing properties; the aluminum casing is rust-proof; touch-safe terminals ensure reliability; and a tear-off explosion-proof top cover further enhances safety.

③ Compact and Lightweight: Easy to install.

④ Versatile Options: Available in both oil-immersed and oil-free (dry-type) versions; an environmentally friendly product.

⑤ Integrated Safety Features: Includes a built-in discharge resistor that reduces terminal residual voltage to below 50V within 3 minutes of disconnection, as well as an internal protective device that safely disconnects the capacitor from the grid in the event of a fault.

Dielectric loss≤0.25 W/kvar
Terminal‑to‑terminal test voltage2.15Un, duration:10 s
Enclosure withstand voltage3000 VAC, duration:60 s
Applicable standardsGB12747‑91, IEC831‑88, EN60831, VDE056, UL810

Operating Environment

① Altitude: ≤2000m.

② Ambient temperature category: -25/D;capacitors should operate under well-ventilated conditions. Ambient humidity: ≤85%.

③ After disconnection from the power supply, the capacitor voltage must drop to 10% of the rated voltage before it can be re-energized; this typically takes 180 seconds, so a controller with a time-delay switching function should be used. This restriction does not apply to controllers utilizing zero-voltage switching.
